High in the snowy Swiss Alps lives a mouse family, who love cheese; melted cheese!
Never ending, addictive tapping game with real Swiss Yoldelling that just makes you feel happy while having fun. Game has a magical story with accompanying book.... Help Matt Mouse catch the cheese, avoid the traps and make the Fondue in time for dinner.
Matt Mouse was born in a warm cozy mouse-hole by the side of a crackling fire in a small wooden chalet in the Swiss Alps. It was a bitterly cold winters night and heavy snow was falling. The little mouse family was snuggled on the window sill hidden behind the shutters eating their dinner by the warmth of the candlelight. A thin sheet of ice coated the inside of the tiny panes of glass. Papa mouse slowly exhaled a warm puff of air towards the window. As if by magic, a small circular peek hole appeared though which the babies and Mama Mouse could gaze out over the snowfields and breathtaking nightscape. A magical mountain rose up from the snow like an enormous piece of crumbling aged Gruyère cheese. Mostly the mice thought everything looked like cheese, but on this occasion, they were right. The Farmer’s wife called the mountain the Matterhorn. It was on this night, as the moon was full and starlight sparkled like glitter on the snowy branches of the trees, that Mama Mouse decided to name her new born baby Matt, after the Matterhorn.
Matilda was the cow in the dairy. She did not like to share her cheese with anyone, let alone the troublesome mice. Farmer Frederick tried always to shoo the mice away, with the sweeping brush, from the churns and barn. The kind farmer’s wife (Yvette), who did not have children herself, loved all the animals, big and small. She made little hats and coats for robins, scarfs for the ducks and geese, socks for the fox, squirrels and badgers and tiny mittens for the mice. She even made the mice a teeny fondue pot from an old thimble with thin wire wrapped around for a handle. She painted it red with a white cross. As I have said, the mouse family loved cheese, they dreamed of cheese, they lived for cheese, but most of all they loved melted cheese! And now with their little Fondue pot they set about making as much Fondue as they could possibly eat.
When Matt grew up a little, it was clear he was no ordinary mouse! He was a mischievous little mouse, but oh how he made his family laugh with his wild ideas and games.
Matt’s favorite game is called Fondue Fun. He runs into the barn and steals the cheese from Frederick the farmer and from right under Matilda the Cow’s nose! Oh how she moos when Matt gets away with her cheese. Frederick yodels out loud to try and frighten the mice away, but it only makes Matt laugh and more determined to avoid Frederick’s mouse traps and catch the cheese to put in the tiny Fondue pot for dinner that night.
Now it’s your turn to help Matt catch the cheese, avoid the traps and make the Fondue in time for dinner.
Delicious!! Say Cheese! Squeak squeak!
